My name is Ken Power. I live in Galway on the west coast of Ireland. The pages in this blog reflect my work and research interests, which include product development processes (specifically using agile and lean methods), software design and architecture, and development of software-intensive products and systems.
I have been working with agile methods and practices since the late 1990′s, and have a deep interest in team and organization structure, software design, and the processes that facilitate effective product and system development.

I have wide experience introducing and applying agile methods in organizations across a variety of industries including network management, financial services, travel technology, and communications.
